What is Undertale?

Undertale is a 8-Bit self aware RPG where the Players takes control of a human child who has fallen into the Underground, and lands in a large secluded region underneath the surface of the Earth which separated by a magic barrier. The Player interacts with many monsters while on his quest to return to the surface, with the player making decisions on whether to kill or talk them out of the fight. Some of these decisions are made through the game’s turn-based combat system, in which the player, after navigating through a small bullet hell* style segments, can opt to talk or spare monsters instead of attacking and killing them. The choices made by the player affect the outcome of the game, with the dialogue and story outcome changing based on their decisions.

Bullet hell:

The term “bullet hell” refers to a sub-genre of shooters whose main gameplay focus is dodging seemingly endless waves of colored bullets.

Personal Opinion:

It’s the best RPG I have ever seen. The self awareness of the game makes it very interesting.

Also it has some of the most memorable and funniest characters of any RPG.
